Intermediate Guitar Class added to El Camino College's program for Spring 2009-

Jon Minei has been given the honor of teaching two sections of the Intermediate Guitar classes at El Camino College for Spring of 2009.  The morning class will be on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 11:00 - 12:30.  The evening class will be on Tuesday nights from 6:00-9:15

This will be in addition to the Beginning Guitar class I will be teaching on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:15-10:15 AM.  [Matthew Greif will also be teaching two other Beginning Guitar classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00-2:30 and 5:00-6:30.]

The intermediate class will expand upon the skills learned in the beginning classes.  Namely, note reading, classical guitar technique, chords and strumming patters.  Moreover, we will explore different musical styles and improvisation.
